posted 09/25/2007 - Michel Garner: Eleven Weeks, Ten Games, Six Teams, One Winner.
The U12 Northstars squad, the Galaxy, didn’t just play in the CNY JSA Soccer league this summer – they won it. With only one loss over the entire season, the boys earned an impressive 7-1-2 record and scored 33-goals through out the season.
Facing clubs from FM, Liverpool, Fulton, Camillus and even the premier club CNY United, the team averaged over three goals a game and secured two shutouts. Congratulations Galaxy!!!
The Galaxy is coached by former Lemoyne soccer player and CNS Freshman coach Todd Cook. The team is currently training and will resume playing with the Northstars Soccer Club when they begin their indoor season in November. |
