Check out the Knight School Youth Soccer Camp this summer with the Syracuse Silver Knights.
The Northstars Soccer Club is proud to partner with the Syracuse Silver Knights Professional Indoor Soccer team in bringing our community a professionally run Youth Soccer Camp! Silver Knights (MISL) players will coach the campers in addition to the Northstars Soccer Club coaches.
The camp staff is composed of Nationally certified coaches including professional players. These qualified professionals will provide quality coaching, while helping youngsters build a love for the game. Correct skills will be demonstrated by coaches for players to visualize what they will need to do. Coaching staff will also stop game play during scrimmages to show concepts & simplify concepts.
A full-time goalkeeper coach will be available.
The coach to player ratio is kept to approximately 1-to-10 in order to maximize personalized training.
Date: July 16th – 19th, 2012

Boys & Girls: Ages 5 – 18 yrs. Old
9am – 12 noon (Open to any interested participants)
Enrollment Cost: $65
includes 12 Hrs. professional Coaching, Official Northstars Size-2 Juggling Soccer Ball, NCAA Gatorade Edition Water Bottle

Knights Target Foot Skills!
The Northstars Soccer Club has teamed up with the Silver Knights (MISL) targeting technical foot skills with the ball.
Jeff Hughes- MISL Defensive Player of the Month, USA National Futsal Team Member attending the World Games in Thailand Summer 12’, University of Cincinnati Bearcat Men’s Soccer Player, USSF National B-License planned and conducted the training session. He was assisted by Ryan Hall- Silver Knights Associate Assistant Coach, Silver Knights player/bench coach, Syracuse University Men’s Soccer Player, USSF National C-License.
They conducted (2) 1-hr training session for our entire club. 50 Northstars Travel Club players and 70 Jr. Academy Players. They focused on proper techniques for dribbling & passing making some very insightful coaching points. Through repetition they tried to make proper dribbling & passing techniques a “thoughtless act” for the players. Jeff & Ryan stressed the importance of players practicing these skill drills at home on their own helping their brain build “sensory motor memories” . Meaning the more we repeat it the better defined and more “natural” (instinctive) the skill becomes.
